Steel Industry Forecast 2017 (Infographic)

Vietnam Steel Association (VSA) has forecast 2017 growth of the steel industry will be about 12%.
VSA said steel industry growth in 2017 can only be achieved comparable growth rate of 2016, with an estimated 12%.
In particular the strong growth products including construction steel increased by 11%, 15% welded steel pipes, galvanized steel sheet and color coated rose 12%, cold rolled steel increased by 13%.
Estimates in 2017, steel production reached 9.4 million tons of construction, whereas in 2016 this figure was 8.5 million tons.
Total production of finished steel products is estimated at 19.6 million tonnes.
