Steel imports nearly 3 billion
|
While reducing the amount of steel exports from China to Vietnam increased sharply causing domestic product is under great pressure. Vietnam Steel Association (VSA) said the first 9 months of production and sales of steel products continued to achieve high growth rates.
Specifically, the production of steel products of member firms VSA, 9 months reached 10.2 million tons, up 17.6% yoy.
In parallel with the production and consumption of steel products also rose 9 months reaching 8.4 million tons, up 7.6% yoy.
While steel production and consumption have increased significantly, the steel exports continue to decline 1.1% from the same period last year, reaching 1,348 million tonnes. However, imports increased sharply signs.

Therefore, to overcome difficulties, domestic enterprises need cost-effective production, reduce costs and enhance the competitiveness of products, availability, after sales service.
